Continuing the tour: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at a meeting with the UN Ambassador in New York
The tour of 40-year-old Meghan Markle and her 37-year-old husband Prince Harry in New York continues. Yesterday morning, they visited the World Trade Center 1, where they met with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor of the state Katie Hochul. After that, the couple briefly stopped by the hotel, where they changed the outfits in which they went to their next meeting.
In the afternoon, the couple paid a private visit to the apartment of the US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, in an interview with whom they discussed the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, issues of racial justice and the importance of mental health of the population.
For this visit, Megan changed her Emporio Armani wool coat in dark blue for one of her most favorite wardrobe items — a cozy camel-colored coat. The Duchess of Sussex combined the coat with a black turtleneck of the New York brand The Row and a matching pencil skirt. Megan complemented the official look with a beige Valextra leather bag and black Aquazzura pumps.
Recall that this is the first appearance of the couple for the first time after the birth of their daughter Lilibet. Meghan and Harry are expected to stay in New York for the weekend: they are planning to attend another Global Citizen Live event on Saturday. It is known that the couple did not take their son Archie and daughter Lilibet with them to New York: the kids are waiting for their parents at home in California under the supervision of nannies.
