Prince Albert II of Monaco told when his wife Princess Charlene will return to Monaco
63-year-old Prince Albert II of Monaco announced when his 43-year-old wife Charlene is going to return to Monaco from South Africa. Charlene has been in her homeland, South Africa, for about five months because of her weakened health after a severe ENT infection. However, in his new interview with the French edition of Point de Vue, Albert II assured that the Princess is already on the mend and will return to Monaco before the National Day, which is celebrated on November 19.
She's much better. The last operation on the nasal septum went very well. We can discuss her coming home soon. I can assure you that Charlene will be in Monaco long before National Day. I can't tell you the exact date, but I promise that you will know everything when the time comes,
- Prince Albert II shared the good news.
Recall that the princess caught a dangerous infection during a spring trip to South Africa. It is known that Charlene has already undergone several operations, after which her health condition has been improving, then getting worse again. The princess could not return home because of the doctors' orders, which so far forbid her to travel long distances. During these five months of Charlene's stay in South Africa, her husband and six-year-old twins Jacques and Gabriella visited her several times.
Due to the long absence of Princess Charlene in Monaco, rumors began to appear in the press about a possible rift in her family. Many assumed that in fact the princess is at home not because of health problems, but because she and her husband are on the verge of divorce. It was even rumored that Charlene left Monaco in a rage and had already started looking for housing in Johannesburg, where she was allegedly going to live after parting with Albert II. The Prince of Monaco denied everything:
She didn't leave Monaco in a rage! She didn't leave because she was mad at me or anyone else. She was traveling to South Africa to review the work of her foundation there and have a little rest with her brother and friends. It was supposed to be just a week, 10 days maximum, but she's still there because she had this infection, all these complications arose,
