Already in December, the premiere of the long-awaited sequel to the cult series "Sex and the City", which was called "The Story continues", will take place. In this regard, the American Vogue magazine chose 56-year-old Sarah Jessica Parker, famous all over the world for the role of Carrie Bradshaw, as the main character of its December issue.

On the cover, Sarah, turned in profile, poses in a dusty pink Dolce & Gabbana bustier dress from the Alta Moda collection, decorated with large flowers. The issue came out with a loud headline: "The story continues... Sarah Jessica Parker is back!".

In an interview with Vogue, Parker talks about the phenomenon of the series "Sex and the City" and its relevance for several generations at once, including for girls who are now barely 20. Sarah is convinced that the main secret of the show's success lies in the fact that it touches on simple but eternal themes:

I think young girls relate themselves to this story because it's about finding true friendship, a job that makes you happy, and love, even if it hurts.

Sarah Jessica Parker also admitted that all these years she kept things in which she starred in various episodes of the show in her own storage. Now she is glad that all these things are back in Carey Bradshaw's dressing room. By the way, judging by the footage from the teaser of the continuation of the series, the main character for some reason will have to return to her small cozy apartment, from which her story once began. By the way, neither Parker nor the other actors and creators of the series have revealed any details of the plot yet.

One of the questions that viewers will have when watching "The Story Continues" will be: "What's so special about this place that she's been holding on to it all these years? Why can't she just close this page?",

- intrigues fans of the Parker series.

In the interview, Sarah also spoke about the criticism in the network that she faced in connection with the filming of the continuation of the cult series. Parker admitted that many Internet users began to discuss how much the main characters of the series have aged, and compare them with what they were more than 20 years ago. The actress herself opposes ageism and reacts harshly to the claims of haters:

There have been so many misogynistic attacks on us that would never happen to men. Gray hair, gray hair... Does she have gray hair? My colleague Andy Cohen has a whole head of gray hair, and he's amazing! Why is this normal in his case? I do not know what to answer you, people! Especially in social networks. Everyone has something to say there. "She has too many wrinkles" or "she doesn't have enough wrinkles." It feels like people don't want us to be in harmony with ourselves, regardless of whether we choose to age naturally or not. I know what I look like. I have no choice. What should I do about it? Stop aging? Or maybe disappear?

At the end of the conversation, Sarah Jessica Parker also recalled the recent passing of the star of the TV series "Sex and the City" and her close friend Willie Garson (in the show, he was remembered by the audience for the role of Stanford Blatch). Jessica admitted that Garson's death really shocked her and changed her in many ways.

It's like I've been emptied out, and I don't expect this space to ever fill up. Over time, my body will get used to the new shape, but now I feel really broken. This is a great loss, and I will miss the joy of this relationship very much. I think about Willie and remember how much fun we had on the set. But despite all this, the right title for this would be: "There are so many good things in the world, and we are lucky to do together what we love so much",

Parker shared her emotions.
