The scene with Chris Noth was cut from the sequel to "Sex and the City" amid rape allegations

The final scene featuring Chris Noth was cut from the sequel to the cult TV series "Sex and the City" after several women accused the 67-year-old actor of rape.

Despite the fact that(spoiler alert!) Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth, died of a heart attack in the first series of the sequel, called "And just like that", fans of the series were waiting for the hero to return in the last episode.

Photos of Nota and the lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker from the filming in Paris were walking on the web. It was expected that Mr. Big would appear in Carrie's memories at the moment when she would scatter his ashes on the Bridge of Arts.

However, according to Variety, the creators of the series found it impossible to include this scene in the episode, given the scandal that broke out around the Note — several women accused him of sexual violence and harassment.

Despite the fact that the actor himself categorically denies his guilt, in December he already lost his role in the CBS TV project "The Equalizer". Also, because of the accusations, a major deal for the sale of his personal tequila broke down.

The last episode of the series "And just like that" is due to be released on the streaming platform HBO Max on February 3, 2022.
