Prince Albert II of Monaco said that his wife Princess Charlene "feels better"
In the near future, Princess Charlene of Monaco may return to her family and, possibly, to the performance of official duties — her husband, Prince Albert II of Monaco, gave an interview to Monaco-Matin and said that his wife is on the mend.
Princess Charlene is feeling much better. I hope that she will return to the principality very soon.
In 2021, the princess was hospitalized due to health problems — during a trip to her homeland, South Africa, she contracted a severe ENT infection. As a result, she had to stay in South Africa to undergo treatment. Charlene underwent several operations, and in November the Princess was finally reunited with her husband and children, but soon after returning to Monaco, her condition worsened.
At the end of January, the Palace of Monaco announced that Charlene is in "satisfactory" condition, but it will have to wait a few more months before she fully recovers. The location of the hospital where Charlene is being treated is not disclosed for the Princess' safety.
Due to Charlene's long absence in Monaco, rumors have surfaced that her marriage with Albert is bursting at the seams. However, both spouses denied this information.
I may have to say this a few times. But this has nothing to do with our relationship. I want it to be clear. These problems are not related to our relationship, nor to the relationship between husband and wife. These are problems of a different nature—" Albert said in an interview with People magazine.
