Rapper A$AP Rocky arrested at Los Angeles Airport

Rapper A$AP Rocky was detained at the Los Angeles airport on suspicion of armed assault. Information about this was published by the Los Angeles police.

According to law enforcement officials, the musician shot at his friend and injured him. The victim needed medical attention, and Rakim Myers (the rapper's real name) fled the scene of the crime along with two other participants in the incident. According to the victim, the rapper shot him several times. The incident occurred in November 2021.

Later, the rapper was released from arrest on bail of 500 thousand dollars.

These are not the rapper's first problems with the law — in 2019, A$AP Rocky was detained for participating in a street fight in Sweden. The musician spent a month in custody and was sentenced to probation.

Before the arrest, A$AP Rocky flew to Los Angeles from Barbados, where he was vacationing with his pregnant lover Rihanna. The couple went to the singer's homeland after rumors that Rihanna dumped the rapper when he cheated on her with her friend, designer Amina Muaddi. The couple did not comment on the rumors, Muaddi herself denied them.
