Bono and Edge from the band U2 gave a concert in the Kiev metro

U2 band members Bono and Edge staged a mini-concert at the Khreshchatyk metro station in Kiev on May 8 — video recordings of the performance instantly spread across the network.

The musicians performed several songs, including With or Without You, Angel of Harlem and Stand by Me. They sang the last one together with the leader of the Ukrainian group "Antibodies" Taras Topol.

Bono and Edge have repeatedly expressed support for Ukraine. In early March, a record appeared on Instagram * U2, on which Bono reads a work by Taras Shevchenko.

Earlier in May, Angelina Jolie was spotted in Lviv. The actress met with the children in one of the local hospitals and talked to the passengers of the evacuation train from Pokrovsk at the Lviv railway station.* Instagram is owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization in the Russian Federation
