Sandra Bullock took a break from acting career: "I'm very burnt out"
Actress Sandra Bullock gave an interview to The Hollywood Reporter and said that she decided to put her acting career on pause.
The star admitted that over the past few years she felt very tired. I'm very burnt out. I'm so tired that I'm not capable of making healthy, reasonable decisions, and I understand that," she said.
57-year-old Bullock noted that work has always been in the first place for her, and this has not affected her life in the best way. The actress admitted that she just had to convince herself that success is not always connected only with work.
I've always had a stable job, I'm lucky. I realized that work was a support for me.
It was like you were constantly opening the fridge and looking for something that had never been there. I said to myself, "Stop looking for it here. You already have it, create it, find it and be fine, even if you don't have a job thanks to which you can assert yourself." During the break, the actress is going to spend more time with the children: Bullock is raising an adopted son and daughter.
This year, the film "Faster than a Bullet" will be released, in which Bullock replaced Lady Gaga: the singer was working on the film "House of Gucci" at that time and abandoned the project due to the coincidence of shooting schedules. The world premiere of the film is scheduled for July 14.
