British television reported the names of those who speculated about the color of Prince Archie's skin: earlier, due to a “translation error,” they were named in the Dutch version of Omid Scobie's book

The names of members of the royal family who speculated about what skin color Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's son Archie would have before he was born have now appeared on British television. They were previously named in the Dutch version of the book "Meghan Markle's mouthpiece" Omid Scobie - in his words, "due to a translation error." He noted that, due to fear of persecution, he did not name them in the English version of the book. The Dutch version was urgently withdrawn from sale.

However, British journalist Piers Morgan in his program “Piers Morgan Uncensored” said that while he "does not believe any member of the royal family has ever made any racist comments," he believes his fellow citizens have a right to know information that has been made available to readers in another country.

"Honestly, if the Dutch who walk into a bookshop can pick up this book and see these names, then you - the British who pay for the British royal family - you have a right to know too."

However, most British tabloids still did not publish these names, although they reported on Piers Morgan’s action. They were published by PageSix.

According to Piers Morgan, Scobie's book named Kate Middleton and King Charles III himself. The king, according to the writer, told his wife, Queen Camilla, that he was interested in what color his grandson's skin would be.

Meghan Markle spoke about this in an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, without naming names. Prince Harry later claimed in an interview when answering questions about this that he was not ready to discuss it, but admitted that he was shocked.

Representatives of the royal family, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Omid Scobie, did not answer journalists' questions.
