"I want to raise men who are not like my exes." Megan Fox talks about raising her sons

Megan Fox, in an interview with WWD, spoke about raising her sons, from whom she wants to raise men “unlike her exes.”

The 37-year-old actress has three sons with ex-husband Brian Austin Green: 10-year-old Noah, 9-year-old Bodhi and 7-year-old Journey. Because of raising her sons, she often finds herself at the center of scandals: Megan allows them to wear women's clothes, for which she is criticized. She herself, however, notes that she tries to treat children with respect, including their personal desires.

“It’s very important to me to raise men who are not like my exes,” she said. — Raise boys who are capable of deep emotional intimacy with their partners. It is important that they are not liars, that they can be honest, that they know how to show respect, and that they are able to experience true love at some point in their lives. I don't expect this to happen with their first love when they're 16, but I hope they get around to it at some point."

According to Megan, it is up to her and her attitude towards her sons that how they will be able to build relationships later depends.

“I am their first introduction to women, and how I love them will influence how they allow themselves to love others when they get into a relationship. And so I hope that it is through my transparency in the way I communicate with them and in the way I show affection to them that they will be able to love in a truly healthy way."

Previously, Megan Fox spoke about a miscarriage from her current lover, rapper Colson Baker, and an ectopic pregnancy. After this, many accused the actress of seeking to attract attention with such revelations about her life. According to Megan, this is not the case, and excessive interest in her even causes her anxiety.

"I think a lot of people are under the impression that I love attention, which is funny because I'm actually very introverted. I wish I could love attention to myself, then I would have a much better life. I would have so much fun, I could do so many things. But instead, I am overcome with unbearable anxiety, and I don’t want to leave the house.”

Megan Fox also said that she is oppressed by the rules by which work in Hollywood is built. She feels like she is "a puppet for the studio or the producers, the director, the screenwriter and everyone else," and she doesn't feel any creative freedom.

"You don't really control any of the creative processes. Yes, you can express your creativity and express something through it within these very limited boundaries. But I think there are only a handful of actors who can actually do it."
