"One of the best things I could do for my confidence." Amanda Bynes talks about plastic surgery

Actress Amanda Bynes, known for her comedy films of the 2000s, said on Instagram* that she decided to undergo plastic surgery: the actress had blepharoplasty. Earlier, fans noted that she began to look different.

"I saw several stories on the Internet that said I had a new look. And I've never spoken about this openly before. In fact, I had blepharoplasty and removed the skin folds in the corners of my eyes. I no longer have these folds on my skin."

According to her, the operation helped her gain self-confidence. "Now I feel much better and I am very glad that I had the operation. It was one of the best things I could ever do for my confidence."

Amanda Bynes previously announced the launch of her own podcast with her friend Paul Sieminski.

Amanda Bynes was the star of her own show on Nickelodeon, The Amanda Show, for which she won the Kids Award four times. Choice in the category "Favorite Television Actress", and also starred in the comedies "She's the Man", "Love on an Island", "What a Girl Wants" and others. In 2010, she retired from acting due to alcohol and drug addiction.

She was under the guardianship of her parents for nine years: all decisions regarding her life were made by her mother Lynn, who was appointed guardian by the court in 2013. This happened after the actress was arrested several times: for drunk driving, attempted theft, assault on a fan, and planning an assassination attempt on her parents. In 2019, the actress returned to a sober lifestyle and even received an associate's degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing, but two years later she was forced to return to treatment. This year it became known that the actress continues treatment in a psychiatric clinic as an inpatient.
