"Getting old in Hollywood is very hard. It's really hard because you can't do anything that's right," she said.

Recently, the actress faced criticism from fans after she shared a photo with a new hairstyle, but subscribers did not like the frame: the actress wrote that she did not look like herself. “I was getting my hair done and I didn’t have an ounce of makeup on, so I used a filter. And it was just a filter that looked good in the cabin light at the time. I didn’t even think about it.”

According to her, after this she was inundated with comments that she was unrecognizable and was even hiding her appearance because she looked bad. "And then another person writes: 'She's unrecognizable so she put on filters because she doesn't want us to know how bad she really looks now that she's over 40. That's crazy, right?'" ;

The actress added that she decided to take this with humor and published new photos in which she used even more filters. "I wrote, 'All natural, no filter,' and decided to laugh about it, and they attacked me for it and said, 'Well, now she's just defending herself.' And I thought, "I just can't do the right thing."

Rosenbaum asked why she was paying so much attention to people “who have nothing better to do than put others down,” to which the actress replied, “Because pretending we don’t care is a lie.”

Women over 40 really have a hard time in Hollywood. Stars such as Adriana Lima, Sofia Vergara and others constantly face criticism. They comment on the attacks and say that appearance changes with age, but most often this leads to a new barrage of negativity.
