Brad Pitt wins in court against Angelina Jolie in child custody case

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been fighting for custody of their six children for almost five years, and now it's finally over. The 57-year-old actor won against the 45-year-old ex-wife in court and achieved joint custody.

He feels a huge sense of relief. His only goal is to spend as much time as possible with the children,

- said the insider.

The former couple have six children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and Vivienne and Knox, 12. The three older children are adopted, and the three younger ones are biological.

After months of testimony from witnesses and specialists from child care centers who spoke to the couple's daughters and sons, Judge John Uderkirk ruled in favor of joint custody.

Significant changes were made to the custody agreement based on a detailed decision made by the judge. Brad just wanted to spend more time with the kids, and it was obvious that Angelina had done everything she could to prevent that. The trial lasted for many months, and there were enough witnesses who interacted with their children during this time. So the decision was based on this,

- said the source.

Jolie nevertheless intends to continue her legal fight and said that the decision was rather preliminary.

Joint custody is not something Angelina objects to. There were other issues of concern. However, the trial is closed,

the insider said.

Recall that John Uderkirk Angelina Jolie repeatedly wanted to remove from the case. Her last complaint against him was that he did not allow her to provide evidence that is relevant to the safety and well-being of minor children.

Recall that Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage. All the following years, the former spouses fought for the right of custody of their children.
