Kate Middleton at the Christmas tea party in London
Kate Middleton attended a traditional Christmas tea party with leaders of volunteer groups involved in helping children and teenagers. The event was part of the “Together for Christmas” program, which takes place under the patronage of the Princess of Wales.
The meeting took place last month, and some of its moments, captured on video, will be shown on Christmas Eve along with a concert of Christmas carols on the British channel ITV.
Prince William's wife arrived at the London community center in a festive red Miu Miu cardigan with white buttons and a pattern of white roses worth £1,350 (about 157 thousand rubles), worn over a white shirt, and matching trousers. Among the jewelry she wore were mother-of-pearl earrings with Cassandra Goad pearls for 4,360 pounds sterling (more than 500 thousand rubles)
During the tea party, Kate chatted with children and members of the public: retired mental health nurse from Sussex Brenda Ford, who volunteers in local schools, football coach Russell Gray from Manchester and Ray, a music therapist at East Anglia Children's Hospice. The princess said that she has her own musical group waiting for her at home, since her eldest son George plays the guitar, her daughter Charlotte loves singing, and little Prince Louis loves to bang on the drums.
Earlier, Kate Middleton, along with George, Charlotte and Louis, visited the Windsor Baby Bank charity, which helps families in need.
