Cardi B and her husband were sued for non-payment of rent and property damage
Cardi B and her husband, rapper Offset, were sued by the owner of the Beverly Hills home that the couple had been renting for several months. TMZ reports this.
The lawsuit alleges that Cardi and Offset moved into the luxury home in early 2022 and left in October without first notifying anyone of their departure. By that time, they allegedly already had arrears in paying rent and utility bills.
Additionally, when the property owner eventually came to check on the house, he discovered that there was extensive damage to his property, including broken furniture, burn marks on tables, holes in the walls and scratches on the tiled floors, as well as ruined carpets and curtains. According to court documents, the total loss amounted to approximately 85 thousand dollars - about 8 million rubles.
Let us remember that in December Cardi B announced her separation from her husband. Later, live, she burst into tears and threatened to tell the truth about what happened.
