"It's time to close up shop." Brian Austin Green had a vasectomy after the birth of his fifth child

“Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green had a vasectomy (surgery to cut the vas deferens) after the birth of his fifth child. He spoke about this during a podcast on iHeart Radio, which also featured his fiancee Sharna Burgess.

“Zayn was born, and I thought it was time to close up shop,” the actor joked, answering a fan’s question about whether the couple planned to have another child in the future. — I already have five children, Sue. Think about who you are asking such a question to.”

Green admitted that all of his children were the result of unplanned pregnancies: “Funny thing: I actually didn’t plan any of my children. Every time it was like this: “Oh, okay. We can handle it." I love my children and didn't mind having any of them, but I've never had that experience where you look at a pregnancy test and hope it's positive, you prepare for it.”

Burgess, in turn, said that she became pregnant with Zane, despite contraceptive measures. She did not deny that in the future she could become a mother again using alternative methods: “If we decide to do this again, I want us to plan it together, wait for the test results together, go all this way together. In this case, we will probably have to resort to IVF procedure.”

Sharna expressed gratitude to her fiancé for getting a vasectomy because taking contraceptives was affecting her health. “It's great that Brian did this because I was crazy about contraception. So I was very, very grateful. It was an important and wonderful act that ensured comfort and a lack of stress in our intimate life,” she said.

Recall that Sharna Burgess gave birth to a son, Zane, with Brian Austin Green in 2022. The actor also has three sons (Noah, Bodhi and Journey) from his ex-wife Megan Fox and an adult son, Cassius, from his relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil.

During the podcast, the actor also praised the fitness of his Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Ian Ziering, who recently got into a fight with a biker gang. “There were about five guys there and he gave them a hard time. “He’s just a monster,” Brian admired.
