Halle Bailey, who starred in the film adaptation of the Disney classic The Little Mermaid, has become a mother for the first time. She gave birth to a son with her lover, rapper DDG.

The actress herself spoke about this on Instagram*, publishing a photo showing the baby’s hand enclosed in a bracelet with the child’s name, Halo, engraved on it, from the English halo - “halo”, “shine”.

“It’s been a few days since the new year began, but I want to say that the best thing that happened to me in 2023 was the birth of my child. Welcome to the world, my Halo. This world desperately wants to know you,” the actress and singer captioned the photo.

Hayley was suspected of being pregnant in October last year. Paparazzi photographed the girl walking around Santa Monica with her lover. In the footage published by The Shade Room portal, her rounded belly was clearly visible.
