Virginia Giuffre said Jeffrey Epstein paid her $15,000 to meet Prince Andrew

Virginia Giuffre, who said she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew when she was a minor, said she received $15,000 from convicted sex-trafficking and pedophilia financier Jeffrey Epstein for meetings with members of the British royal family. This was reported by People with reference to court documents that were at the disposal of journalists.

"I received 15 thousand dollars. I don’t know how much it is in pounds sterling, they gave it to me in dollars,” Giuffre testified. When asked if she paid taxes on this amount, Giuffre replied in the negative.

According to Giuffre, she met and had sex with Prince Andrew three times between 1999 and 2002, the first time at the London home of Epstein's assistant Ghislaine Maxwell, who is now serving a prison sentence. Virginia was 17 years old at the time of their first meeting.

Giuffre said Epstein rented her out for sex. influential people, as well as his business partners and friends, one of whom was Prince Andrew. Despite numerous scandals and the deprivation of a number of royal privileges, the prince did not receive appropriate punishment. She filed a lawsuit against him in 2021. Prince Andrew did not admit guilt and settled the case out of court, paying Giuffre £12 million.
