On the cover of the French gloss, Chloe poses for Larisa Hofmann in a Burberry dress, Saint Laurent shoes and trendy red Calzedonia tights. For the photo shoot, Sevigny tried on looks from Chanel, Max Mara, Saint Laurent, and Prada.

This year, the actress will appear in the second season of the series Feud: Capote vs. the Swans. The story tells of the discord between writer Truman Capote and his socialite girlfriends, whom he called "swans." Sevigny plays New York socialite Lucy "CZ" Gest.

"When I was a teenager, I was a huge Truman Capote fan, and I still am! Unfortunately, such heroes no longer exist,” says Chloe. "CZ was one of the few who remained faithful to him. She was a model, a savvy entrepreneur, an excellent athlete and an excellent equestrian, and also had a passion for plants—she even wrote books on gardening! Compared to the personalities of her friends, she was distinguished by gentleness."

Throughout her career, Chloe did not strive for Hollywood success, preferring arthouse projects and little-known directors. Sevigny explained why creative independence is important to her. "Early in my career, I liked to act in little-known films that weren't distributed by major studios. All that matters to me is the depth I can bring to the character, whatever it may be. In the 1990s it was a matter of trust! In a conversation with Luca Guadagnino (the director directed Chloe in the film “Bones and Everything”, the series “We Are Who We Are” - Ed.), he admitted to me that it was this independence that pushed him to turn to me, so in a way it was worth it."

In 2020, Sevigny became a mother for the first time. The actress said whether this event changed her life. “I always thought that I would have children, nothing happened for a long time, and I asked myself: “Do I want to be a mother?” Can I become a good mother?” Relationships with parenthood are very personal, and therefore complex: I have friends who manage well without children, there are those who dream of them, but cannot find the right person, and some have problems with fertility. Sometimes I feel embarrassed to talk about what this means to me, when for many others it is an unfulfilled wish. Or that others, not having such a desire, feel guilty or are ostracized... On social networks, especially on Instagram*, we are shown how to ideally feed a child, how to ideally put away toys, and so on. My son is only tolerant of three foods. He doesn't seem to want to eat anything and it's very inconvenient, but what can I do? I just keep trying, that's all."

The actress believes that in other countries, unlike the United States, they look at parenting differently. In America, according to Chloe, "there are so many expectations associated with a capitalist society that we always have to be better because we are constantly being judged."

Star of the movie "Kids" She added that she is teaching her son to “show respect for others,” something she learned from her mother as a child, and has no plans to have more children. “One day I called the nanny to the set, and my son got really angry and acted like a little tomboy - which he is not - and I had to raise my voice, which I almost never do. I will not have other children, he is the one and only, he is only 3 years old, and we are very attached to each other. How can I avoid spoiling him too much? That’s why I try to educate him with discipline... and the ability to negotiate!”
