Alyssa Milano has come under fire after sharing a GoFundMe link on social media to raise funds for her son's vacation trip.

Milo, 12, planned to take his baseball team, the Birds 12U, to Cooperstown, home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. In total, the “Charmed” star planned to raise 10 thousand dollars for all necessary expenses.

The public was outraged that Alyssa, being a multimillionaire, decided to ask for help from people earning much less than her. “Why doesn’t she pay for the whole team herself? Why is she asking people for money who can barely pay at the grocery store?” — one of the star’s subscribers asked. “Alyssa Milano has lost her mind. How tactless and detached from life do you need to be?” - said another, and there were a huge number of similar comments.

Milano was quick to respond to the criticism. In a new post on the social network X (formerly Twitter, blocked in the Russian Federation), she wrote that she had already financially invested in her son’s team more than once, including “paying for uniforms for all players and coaches, throwing birthday parties and helping children who couldn’t afford the monthly fees.” At the same time, she noted that the team members themselves regularly raise funds, earning money, for example, by washing cars, and in other ways.

The actress thanked everyone who responded to her request and said that these people did a good deed for the boys and their families.
