Drew Barrymore was tricked by a man on a dating app by pretending to be an NFL player.
Drew Barrymore on her personal talk show told how she was deceived by a user of a dating site.
In a conversation with her co-host, Ross Matthews, the actress admitted that she recently met a suitor for her heart, who introduced himself as a quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams football team. Drew was very inspired and wrote to the man that she had just recently attended a practice match of this team. The correspondence continued for some time, but it later became clear that Barrymore’s potential lover was not a football player at all, but a musician who thought he was “being nice.”
“What should I think about this?” — the actress asked a question. She added that she did not immediately reject the unlucky admirer, but finally decided to “break up” with him after he gave her a nickname. “He writes to me like: “Hey, Drewsky,” and I think: “Oh, you are a thoughtful deceitful player, I hate you.” He made me feel like a complete fool. I didn’t even know who he was,” the star shared.
However, according to Barrymore, she did not worry about this situation for long, because she has never been a fan of dating apps. “Every time I go in there, I don’t feel very good. I can’t hold out longer than five days,” said the actress.
As recently as last October, Drew Barrymore said she had been "sort of" dating the same man for some time. Apparently, something went wrong in that relationship.
