Robert de Niro told what it's like to be the father of a little daughter at 80 years old

Robert De Niro spoke to AARP about what it's like to be the father of a young daughter at 80 years old.

“I'm an 80-year-old dad, and this is wonderful. Everything that occupies me or worries about just disappears when I look at her. This in itself is amazing. She looks at you in such a special sweet way that she takes all your attention. My other daughter, Helen, had the same look,” said the Hollywood actor.

He couldn’t hold back his tears at the thought of not seeing his youngest daughter as an adult: “I don’t know what will happen when she grows up. But now she thinks a lot and carefully observes what is happening around her. It is very interesting. I would like to stay around as long as possible to enjoy it to the fullest.”

Let's remember that Robert de Niro's youngest daughter, Gia, was born in May last year, when the actor was 79 years old. The girl's mother is the movie star's current lover, martial arts trainer Tiffany Chen.

The actor has six more children: daughter Drena and son Raphael from his first marriage to Dianne Abbott, son Elliot and daughter Helen from his second marriage to Grace Hightower, and twin sons Julian and Aaron Kendrick from ex-lover Tuki Smith.
