The Russian Foreign Ministry called Bi-2’s statement about the “Russian trace” in their deportation a fake

Members of the Bi-2 group, who were deported from Thailand to Israel this week after a concert due to lack of work visas, blamed the Russian government for this. However, the Russian Foreign Ministry denies this: the department issued a statement in which the musicians’ words about the “Russian trace” in their case are called fake. The statement was published in the telegram channel of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“This is the same case when speculative publications merged into one complete fake. As a result, the authors of the fake news got entangled in their own lies and misled their audience. None of the “sensational” notes have any basis, and insinuations about Russian diplomats - a lie from beginning to end,” the statement said.

The musicians of the Bi-2 group, including the leaders Shura and Lyova*, were detained on January 24 after a concert in Phuket: they were in the country on tourist visas and without a work permit. The musicians spent several days in a common cell at the migration center in a cage for 80 people in the open air in a heat of about 30 degrees. At the same time, there was a possibility of deportation of some members of the team to the Russian Federation. As a result, after human rights activists stood up for them, everyone was sent to Israel.
