Kanye West releases Vultures album and draws Ozzy Osbourne's ire for copyright infringement

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have released their highly anticipated collaborative album, Vultures, on multiple music platforms.

On the cover is Kanye himself in the image that has already become his signature (black clothes, a mask covering his face) and his wife Bianca Censori, who stands with her back to the camera and, according to tradition, is almost completely naked.

The album includes 15 tracks with a total duration of about 50 minutes. Not everyone has had time to listen to it yet, but it has already attracted the attention of the media due to another scandal: this time the famous rocker Ozzy Osbourne accused West of using his music without permission.

“Kanye West has asked permission to sample an excerpt from my 1983 live performance at a festival in the USA with the song War Pig, without vocals. I refused because he is anti-Semitic and has caused many unspoken heartaches. But yesterday he used the sample anyway during his album launch party. I don’t want to be associated with this person in any way!” wrote 75-year-old Osbourne on his Instagram*.

His wife Sharon Osbourne, who has Jewish roots, added fuel to the fire. “Kanye hooked up with the wrong Jew this time,” she told TMZ.

West hosted a party for his Vultures album in Chicago. The streaming platform Veeps interrupted the online broadcast of the concert due to the fact that the rapper called himself an anti-Semite on air.

Kanye has repeatedly found himself at the center of scandals due to his anti-Semitic statements. Against this background, adidas stopped collaborating with him in 2022, and the rapper also lost other contracts. At the same time, he repeatedly apologized for his words.
