Meghan Markle Announces New Podcast After Spotify Mishap

Meghan Markle, despite an unsuccessful collaboration with Spotify, announced the launch of a new podcast. This time the Duchess of Sussex will collaborate with Lemonada Media. Deadline reported this, and later a message about it appeared on the new website of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

"I'm proud to announce that I'm joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue doing what I love: podcasting," Megan said in a statement.

While there are no specific details about the new project, Markle has revealed that she wants to re-release Archetypes, which she released with Spotify. “The opportunity to support a woman-founded company with a series of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024. We plan to re-release Archetypes so more people can now access it, as well as launch a dynamic new podcast.”

“Meghan’s talent as a host, creator and communicator is unparalleled, and we are thrilled to partner with her on a new podcast that will further her approach to creating meaningful art,” added Lemonada CEO Jessica Cordova Kramer.

In the Archetypes podcast, Meghan Markle set out to "explore the labels that try to hold women back" and "uncover the origins of these stereotypes by having open conversations with women who know all too well how these stereotypes shape the narrative."

Meghan Markle did not have a fruitful relationship with Spotify: the company severed business relations with her. A company representative called Meghan and Harry “lazy” and “fraudsters,” and Markle herself was accused of faking an interview for a podcast. True, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves believe that they are not to blame for all this, but were unable to achieve success due to external reasons, such as the coronavirus pandemic and the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The day before it became known that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launched a new website using the titles of the Dukes of Sussex. This, according to insiders, alerted the royal family, who thought they were going to monetize the titles and considered it unethical. And after news about this appeared in the press, the couple was criticized by residents of Sussex, who are unhappy that Meghan and Harry are going to make money on their titles without being working members of the royal family. According to the British, dukes just want to "wear glamorous royal names" and not do any work.
