The Picnic group addressed the families of those killed in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall and reported the death of an employee
The leader of the rock group “Picnic”, Edmund Shklyarsky, recorded a video message to the families of the victims and all those affected by the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. It was published on the official Telegram channel of the musical group.
“Dear friends, we appeal to everyone who, unwittingly, naturally found themselves involved in this terrible tragedy. Completely meaningless. It is clear that there are no words that can resurrect or console people. But we offer our condolences to all the relatives. The only thing you can do is hope for some kind of calm. Again, I say, words that can resurrect and somehow console, it seems to me, have not yet been found. Such words have not yet been invented,” Shklyarsky said.
The group also reported that one of the victims of the terrorist attack was their employee, assistant director of the group Ekaterina Kushner.
“Ekaterina Gennadievna Kushner died during a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall. Blessed memory,” the artists wrote.
On the evening of March 22, before the concert of the Picnic group, a group of armed people burst into Crocus City Hall and opened fire. According to the Investigative Committee, 133 people died as a result of the terrorist attack.
