Roxana Shatunovskaya leaves the post of general director of New Holland due to her husband’s statements about the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
The general director of the St. Petersburg space New Holland, Roxana Shatunovskaya, said that she was leaving her post due to the scandal surrounding the statements of her husband, the founder of the Zubrovka furniture studio, Nikolai Konashenko, about the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.
“The leadership of New Holland and the project “New Holland: Cultural Urbanization” have always adhered to universal human values and by mutual agreement of me and my leadership we have come to the decision that I can no longer hold my position and perform my duties due to the fact that a member of my family allowed himself monstrous statements incompatible with humanity,” she wrote on Instagram*.
“I want to clarify that my husband never worked in New Holland and has nothing to do with it. Personally, I do not support and condemn what my husband said, with all my heart I sympathize with the victims of the terrorist attack, but I remain with my family. Therefore, I am leaving my post and leaving project".
Earlier, Konashenok published a post on social networks, in which he also called Picnic a “monstrous group” and stated that “at concerts of Western stars, even “in symphonic performance,” nothing like this happens.” His words were noticed by users who noted that he works in New Holland and demanded that he be fired.
As reported in the telegram channel "Heroine of Tatler", Shatunovskaya, according to rumors, also broke up with her husband. Shatunovskaya and Konashenok got married in November 2022.
Shatunovskaya has held the post of general director and ideologist of the New Holland project, which Roman Abramovich’s company worked on, since 2011.
