"Love conquers all." Sam Taylor-Johnson speaks out about her 24-year age difference with husband Aaron

Director Sam Taylor-Johnson, who previously presented her film Back to Black, commented on the 24-year age difference with her husband, 33-year-old actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson. According to Sam, 57, she is “not noticeable at all” in relationships.

"It never comes out. I mean, now," she told The Guardian. "It's all from the point of view of people who don't know us. I think people will always think that way."

According to Sam, she never doubted her choice. "If I questioned something, it would never have happened. But I'm very instinctive. In my life, everything is always upside down. I say, 'Oh, this seems like a great idea,' and I immediately rush to do it, live it this experience, good or bad. I have a 'damn it, let's try it' approach. And I firmly believe that Serov's command is above all. Love conquers all."

According to Sam, they are, of course, different from other couples, but over time this stopped embarrassing them. "We're a bit of an odd couple, but here's the thing: after 14 years, you just start to think it doesn't really matter anymore."

Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson married in 2012, after three years of dating: they met on the set of Nowhere Boy. The couple have two daughters: 13-year-old Wilda and 11-year-old Romy.

Although they have been together for many years and are one of the strongest couples in Hollywood, they constantly have to respond to criticism of their age difference. However, other couples also face this: for example, Heidi Klum, whose husband is 17 years younger than her. But, according to the model, neither she nor Tom Kaulitz are bothered by this until strangers start talking about it.
