There is a joyous occasion in the Jordanian royal family: Crown Prince Hussein and his wife, Princess Rajwa, who married 10 months ago last June, will become parents for the first time. The news was spread by the official website of the Royal Family of Jordan, reporting that the child will be born this summer:

The child will be the first grandchild of Queen Rania and King Abdullah II. Prince Hussein, who turns 30 in June, is their eldest son and is the heir to the throne. He received a prestigious international education (a bachelor's degree in international history from Georgetown University and a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst), and now serves as an official member of the royal family and assists his father in government affairs. His wife, 29-year-old Princess Rajwa, had a career in the United States before their marriage: she graduated from Syracuse University College of Architecture and received a master's degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, after which she briefly worked in an architectural office. In August 2022, Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa announced their engagement, and a year later, in June, they had a magnificent wedding, which was attended by representatives of many royal families of the world, including Kate Middleton and Prince William.
In addition to Prince Hussein, Queen Rania and King Abdullah have three other children: Princess Iman, 27, who married last year, Princess Salma, 24, and Prince Hashem, 19.
