Cara Delevingne denies post-Met Gala rumors that she is using drugs again

Cara Delevingne has denied rumors that she has started taking drugs again. The model was suspected of having a breakdown after the recently held Met Gala Costume Institute Ball in New York.

The fact is that a video of Kara’s communication with the press went viral online, during which, as many Internet users thought, the model behaved strangely: she bulged her eyes, actively gesticulated, and stroked the reporter’s hand. At some point, Ed Sheeran and Stella McCartney even approached her - as it seemed to many, to rescue her from an awkward situation.

However, Cara assured fans that she was fine. In the comments under the video on one of the social networks, she wrote: “I’ve been clean for almost two years! Thanks for support". It is worth noting that at the same Met Gala, Kara gave a short interview to Variety, in which she supported those who are currently struggling with addiction. “If I can do it, anyone can,” Kara said.

She emphasized that to succeed you need to talk about your condition and be as honest as possible, first of all with yourself: “This is what I have always done in this business. Be it revelations about anxiety, depression, recovery, whatever. You have a responsibility to share with people what you're going through because this world isn't perfect and no one is perfect. The least I can do is be honest.”

Last year, Cara Delevingne admitted to alcohol and drug addictions, and also spoke about mental problems that pushed her to an unhealthy lifestyle. According to the model, the scandalous photographs taken by the paparazzi a year earlier, in which she looked extremely unhealthy, became an alarm bell for her. Scared, Kara decided to pull herself together and do everything possible to change her life for the better. With the support of friends, Delevingne completed a rehabilitation course, took up yoga, and began to draw inspiration and strength from creativity.
