Miley Cyrus admitted that she is not friends with celebrities. The star spoke about this in a new interview with David Letterman. The 31-year-old "Flowers" singer said she prefers "quality over quantity" when it comes to friendships. Recently, the singer began to communicate less with colleagues.

"I'm not very involved in the lives of other artists and celebrities," Miley said. “When I’m in their circle, I just don’t feel like they’re my people. But there are other examples - for example, we’ve known Beyoncé for a very long time.”

Cyrus recalled performing with Beyoncé, Rihanna and other famous singers in 2007 with the song Just Stand Up, which marked the beginning of their friendship.

“I then found myself between Rihanna and Queen Beyoncé, and they were already quite adults, magnificent.
