Actress Glafira Tarkhanova shared on Instagram* how her fifth birth went: on June 18, she gave birth to a girl, and the birth was at home.

According to 40-year-old Tarkhanova, she gave birth to only the eldest of her five children in a maternity hospital; the rest of the births took place at home in the presence of a doula: "Yes, it's scary! Yes, it hurts! Yes, it's unpredictable every time! And it's been like this for centuries... If it's a natural process without medical intervention (as indicated). Until now, no one has said how long the birth will last. Which is easier - the first, the second... the fifth? One can only guess. The last time I was told so many things, what forecasts and dates were prophesied... It didn't come true. Everything is individual, it's impossible to predict. Those at the top know better when and how long. But the attitude, knowledge of the process, trust in the midwife, who will be there throughout the entire process, are very important."

The actress noted that she was glad that comfortable conditions for childbirth were now appearing in maternity hospitals, but for her personally, home birth was the best choice. She emphasized that she was not agitating anyone. Opinions were divided in the comments: most users simply congratulated the actress on the birth of her long-awaited daughter, some women shared their experiences of childbirth, but there were also those who wrote that home birth is very dangerous, since the lack of highly qualified medical personnel and equipment can lead to tragedy if something goes wrong during childbirth.

Earlier, Glafira Tarkhanova said that they named their daughter Lukerya. She has four more children from Maly Theater actor Alexei Fadeev: sons Kornei, Ermolai, Gordey and Nikifor, who are not shown on social networks. Glafira Tarkhanova did not talk about her fifth pregnancy on social networks, but it became known in March, when she showed off her rounded belly at the premiere of Valeria Gai Germanika's series "Mutual Consent", in which she played the main role.
