Photos of Stone Age-style houses designed by Bianca Censori have gone viral online

Bianca Censori unexpectedly attracted attention to her person not with another revealing image, but with her professional activities. Photos of houses she designed went viral on the Internet.

Let us recall that Kanye West's wife has an architectural education. Initially, she dreamed of becoming a sculptor, but then her interests changed, and she received a bachelor's and master's degree in architecture from the prestigious University of Melbourne. During her career, Bianca has worked with such industry giants as Valerio Olgiati and Vincent Van Duysen.

Before West appointed her as YZY's head of architecture in 2020, Censori was an associate at respected Melbourne firm DP Toscano Architects. Her former boss, Joe Toscano, has spoken highly of her in the press, telling the Morning Herald that Bianca impressed Kanye because she was so talented.

After joining YZY, Censori designed a Stone Age-style home in 2021 with her colleagues Tanil Raheef and Ibrahim Salman, which they built in a California national park. The Joshua Tree Residence looks like a house that the characters from the animated series The Flintstones might live in. It has a very unusual design: a flat white slab, installed on huge stone boulders, acts as a roof. Despite its megalithic structure, the building maintains a modern look thanks to floor-to-ceiling glass windows located between the stones and sleek furniture built into the rock.

Bianca's portfolio states that her project "Stone Age Architecture" rethinks construction "through the lens of prehistory" and "ignites a dialogue between the past and the present." She and her team call this concept "primitive futurism."

This architectural philosophy, that buildings and nature can “coexist in a symbiotic relationship,” is also evident in Bianchi’s other project, the Saudi Sound Stage in the Arabian Desert, which features six sound stages and a restaurant. The space was likely designed to host Kanye West’s parties and concerts.

After Bianca's portfolio caught the public's attention, internet users began vying to admire her work. Previously, a similar public reaction was caused by a video from 2022 from the virtual conference Circular Fashion Summit, where Bianca represented the Yeezy brand.
