The new couture collection of Thom Browne was shown in Paris as part of the Haute Couture Week. The show of the famous American designer was attended by Anna Wintour, Serena Williams, Teyana Taylor, Anna Dello Russo, Mia Regan, singer Eric Nam, star of the film "We're the Millers" Will Poulter, actress Molly Gordon, blogger Emma Chamberlain and other guests.
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, 74, showed up to the show in a pink dress, a Thom Browne coat that was sent to guests as an invitation to the show, and in a good mood. Before the show, she managed to chat with her front-row neighbor Serena Williams, who wore a red corset top and miniskirt, complementing her outfit with the brand's famous dachshund-shaped bag.
In the new collection, Thom Browne moved away from his signature grey, maintaining looks in white shades, with the addition of gold, the tricolor and references to the Olympic Games. Models walked the runway in dresses with a pronounced waistline, an abundance of embroidery and deconstruction, wore ankle boots with studded soles and clutches in the form of dachshunds. The show was closed by an "Olympic" look with a gold wreath on the head and with bag-whistle.
