Paris Hilton Shows Off Son Phoenix's First Steps

Paris Hilton posted a video on Instagram* showing her son Phoenix's first steps. In the video, the boy, who is almost a year and a half old, tries to walk, and his parents support the little one.

Phoenix in the video is wearing a large hat with earflaps: after criticism of the shape of her son's head, Paris tries to publish photos of the baby in a hat.

Paris Hilton, 43, often faces criticism from her followers because of her children. People are most outraged by the fact that she did not give birth to Phoenix and his nine-month-old sister London herself, but turned to surrogate mothers for help. Paris herself explained this by mental health issues and noted that it would have been extra stress for both her and the child.

After Paris started posting photos with her children all the time, she was accused of using her children as an accessory: supposedly she doesn’t care about them, but only takes pictures. In addition, Paris had to repeatedly justify the shape of Phoenix’s head: people wrote that it was too big and advised Hilton to see a doctor. Paris herself claimed that her son was fine.

Last week, Paris, who had a controversial reputation in the 2000s for her loud parties and outrageous behaviour, spoke out about the abuse she suffered as a teenager at boarding school.
