Suki Waterhouse has given a rare comment on her past relationship with Bradley Cooper

Robert Pattinson's wife, model, actress and singer Suki Waterhouse, has given a rare comment on her split from her previous boyfriend, actor Bradley Cooper, almost ten years after their breakup. Suki, 32, spoke about the affair in a new interview with Vogue magazine, for the cover of which she starred with her newborn daughter. Suki did not share details of her split with Cooper, but called the breakup "painful": "When something happens publicly that everyone knows about, and the backstory is very complicated, it's very hard for you, but you can't tell the world everything. It makes you feel alone."

Suki has rarely spoken publicly about her relationship with Cooper, but she has made a few comments in the past, such as a comment on a TikTok video a couple of years ago that discussed her romance with Cooper. The comment read, "I can't believe I let someone who looks like me but with filters break my heart."

Suki has previously said that her breakup with Bradley was very painful for her, but now, she says, she is "confident" - although it took "ten years of work on myself" to heal the emotional wounds.

Recalling her time in her early 20s, Suki described her love life as "sadistic": "What I thought was love was a kind of fetish for me. I feel like when you're only loved in that way, you end up being punished. When you're in your 30s, you're more respected in a relationship. It's amazing and shocking at the same time."

Suki Waterhouse and Bradley Cooper dated from 2013 to 2015, and everyone was talking about their 17-year age difference: at the time, Suki was 21, Bradley was 38 (by the way, they both shared the same birthday - January 5). Soon after they broke up, Cooper began dating Irina Shayk, with whom he later had a daughter, Leah - she is now seven years old. He later broke up with Shayk, too, and now the 49-year-old actor is in a relationship with 29-year-old model Gigi Hadid.

After breaking up with Cooper, Suki briefly dated actor Diego Luna, and then met Robert Pattinson - a relationship that, according to her, completely changed her life. This spring, the couple had a child - a daughter, whose name the parents have not yet revealed. Later it became known that Suki and Robert secretly got married. The 38-year-old actor recently admitted that he is incredibly happy to have become a father.
