"In a few years they will realise how much they missed." Meghan Markle's father says his grandchildren will resent their parents when they grow up
Meghan Markle's father Thomas has never met his grandchildren, but he believes they are not being raised the way they should be, he told the Daily Mail.
Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, have not been allowed to interact with their cousins in the royal family, according to Thomas Markle, 79. He also said Prince George, ten, Charlotte, nine, and Louis, six, "look like fantastic children."
Meghan Markle's father believes his grandchildren have every right to take part in events like Trooping the Colour because of their background. He said: "They are at an age where they are starting to ask questions, like all children. I wonder how Archie and Lilibet will feel in a few years when they realise how much they have missed."
Thomas Markle believes that his grandchildren will soon have many questions for their parents: "The main one is: why are they treating not only me, but the royal family and the king so badly?" He noted that he and the British monarch are "in the same boat", as he also has health problems: King Charles III is currently battling cancer.
Meghan, 42, has been estranged from her father for years. Thomas has never met Harry, 39, and has repeatedly slammed them in interviews. The couple maintains a close relationship with the former actress's mother, Doria Ragland. Their relationship with the royal family has been strained since they left England in 2020 and stepped down from their royal duties.
Meanwhile, the couple's life is hardly going as planned. There are rumors that their Hollywood friends have started to turn their backs on them, and the company they worked with, Spotify, has ended its partnership amid scandal. A company representative called Meghan and Harry "lazy" and "fraudsters" and claimed that Meghan faked an interview for a podcast.
However, Meghan Markle was recently spotted in a Los Angeles park filming a video. The internet speculated that she has a new advertising contract.
