"He wanted to marry her and have a baby." Tom Cruise was planning to start a family with Elsina Khayrova to "establish himself" in the UK

An insider told In Touch Weekly why Tom Cruise, 62, was in such a hurry to get involved with the Russian politician's daughter Elsina Khayrova: he wants to have children to establish himself in the UK. He dated Elsina, 36, for a while at the end of last year, but broke up in February, reportedly just days after meeting her children from her first marriage to Russian businessman Dmitry Tsvetkov.

"Having a baby in the UK would be a fantastic way to strengthen his roots there. It's one of the reasons he was in such a hurry with Elsina, he wanted to marry her and get on with the kids thing straight away," the source claims.

According to him, they broke up without scandals. "There is no animosity between them. They just had different ideas about what their relationship would be like."

Despite the failure with Elsina, Tom Cruise is still looking for a woman with whom he could start a family. "It's a shame it didn't work out with her, but it's still part of his plans, he wants another child, he's committed to it with all his heart. He's just waiting until he meets the right woman."

Let us recall that Tom Cruise also has a daughter, Suri, from actress Katie Holmes. The girl does not communicate with her father.

The insider notes that Cruise wants to have children in the UK. Apparently, this is why the actor said he is not interested in a relationship with Irina Shayk, who added him to her "list of potential lovers."

Elsina and Tom Cruise's romance began when the socialite came to a private tea party at the actor's house, where Kate Middleton and Prince William often attend (although it is possible that Elsina simply dropped in on the party as a neighbor, since she and Tom live in the same house in London). Elsina allegedly made an indelible impression on Cruise, and soon they were spotted together at a party in Mayfair, and later the actor rented an entire floor of the London restaurant Novikov for a date. The romance began to be discussed in detail by the media. Everyone expected Cruise to publicly announce a new romance, but instead, news suddenly appeared that the couple had broken up. As insiders reported, Tom had cooled towards Elsina, but they remained friends: in his opinion, living in the same house, it would be inappropriate to spoil the relationship.
