I have decided to stop making videos like this because they can have a negative impact. It was never my intention to hurt anyone," Marissa wrote. For example, Gomez has been battling lupus for several years, which is why she has to take medications that have caused her to gain weight. According to the blogger, this could have affected the way her face looks. "No one should have to justify themselves for not looking like they did in their teens or 20s," she noted.

Selena later responded to her comment, clarifying that she had no complaints against the blogger, she was simply tired of the constant criticism of her appearance. "I'm not talking about you. I just get sad sometimes," Gomez wrote.
