Rare appearance: John Travolta with his daughter at the Paris Olympics
The Summer Olympics in Paris saw a rare celebrity appearance: 70-year-old John Travolta and his 24-year-old daughter Ella Blue came to watch the artistic gymnastics competitions – by the way, that day their compatriot Simone Biles won another gold medal.
The Grease star appeared in the stands wearing blue jeans, a black jacket over a black T-shirt, and black boots, as well as a silver chain around his neck and sunglasses. Ella Blue, in turn, looked like a stereotypical Parisian: she wore loose black trousers, a black top with thin straps, black sandals and a beret. Perhaps she also resembled a Frenchwoman because of her hairstyle - a neat bob.
The father and daughter watched the competition closely and warmly supported the athletes, at one point even giving them a standing ovation. They also actively discussed what was happening at the stadium with each other.
Recall that John Travolta had only three children with his wife Kelly Preston, who died of cancer in 2020: daughter Ella Bleu and sons Jett and Benjamin. However, Jett died on January 2, 2009, as a result of an epileptic seizure while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas - he hit his head on the bathtub.
Travolta rarely appears in public with his children, but he and Ella Bleu recently attended a special screening of Pulp Fiction to mark the film's 30th anniversary.
