Zac Efron posted a workout photo to his Stories* and wrote, "Happy and healthy, thanks for the well wishes." This is how he addressed his followers after he was found unconscious in the pool at his villa in Ibiza.

The 36-year-old actor was shown lifting weights on a gym ball shirtless after being hospitalized on Friday night when, according to TMZ, two staff members pulled him out of the water. Details of the incident have not been released, but Efron's rep confirmed that the actor was hospitalized "as a precaution" after a "minor" accident and was released Saturday morning.

Many on social media expressed concern about the accident, with some finding it odd that nine months ago Efron said he wanted to play Matthew Perry in a biopic about the actor, given that Matthew Perry died in a hot tub.

Efron is currently on holiday in Ibiza and recently performed on stage with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix.

The pool accident is reportedly not Efron's first: About a decade ago, he fell after slipping on a pair of socks, leaving him with a shattered jaw. The injury left him with a severely deformed lower jaw, prompting rumors of surgery, which the actor denies.
