Blake Lively Wears Archival Britney Spears Dress From 2002 To Film Premiere

Blake Lively stepped out in the famous Versace "Butterfly dress" that Britney Spears wore 22 years ago. The 36-year-old actress wore it to the premiere of her new film "It Ends with Us" in New York.

The mother of four and Gossip Girl star said she was honored to walk the red carpet in the dress Spears wore to the Versace show in Milan in October 2002. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds showed his support for his wife, posing next to her in an olive green suit.

Blake also posted a photo of Britney in the dress on her Instagram* and called her a queen. "Today's mood: The queen who made us all shine, write, and share our stories," Blake wrote. "Britney, all of us millennials have a story about a moment or years where you made us shine and inspire awe with strength, joy, and hard work. Thank you for being an example and a part of women telling their stories. Can't wait for your biopic and everything that's to come."

Earlier it became known that a biopic would be made about the pop star of the 2000s, and Millie Bobby Brown, Sydney Sweeney and Sabrina Carpenter are rumored to be considered for the role of the main character.

Blake Lively recently appeared at the premiere of a new film dressed as Barbie, and also attended an event in honor of the launch of her hair care brand in a blouse with a deep neckline.
