Boxer Iman Khelif, caught in a gender scandal, poses in a feminine image and receives a compliment from 50 Cent
Algerian boxer Iman Khelif, who was caught up in a gender scandal at the Summer Olympics in Paris, starred in an advertisement for the Beauty Code beauty salon.
In the video, published on the social networks of Beauty Code and the athlete herself, Iman appeared in two images. First, in a more familiar one: in a Jacquemus T-shirt, boxing gloves and with a minimum of makeup. And then in a more feminine one: with brighter makeup, loose hair, large earrings and a blouse with a floral print.
Beauty Code representatives noted that Iman worked hard to win the Olympic gold, so she had no time to go to beauty salons. After all, the ring requires strategy and strength, not makeup and heels. In addition, Khelif has never sought to “meet standards to have the right to exist.” However, she can be feminine and elegant when she wants to. Many Internet users believe that by filming the commercial, the boxer responded to haters who called her a man.
Not only her long-time fans, but also some media personalities were not indifferent to Iman’s transformation. Thus, rapper 50 Cent posted a photo of Khelif in a new look on his social networks and wrote: “Damn, this makeup is gorgeous. Keep it up, girl. She hit her rival so hard that she said: “No, this is a man!”
Let us recall that Iman found herself at the epicenter of a scandal after her fight with Italian Angela Carini - the latter ended the fight after 46 seconds and said in tears that she had never been hit so hard. Iman was immediately accused of being a man, and many Internet users believed that the fight was unfair. The fact is that Khelif was one of two athletes who did not undergo gender tests before the World Boxing Championships last year. The head of the International Boxing Association (IBA) Umar Kremlev said that the suspended athletes' genetic tests revealed a male set of XY chromosomes. However, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) considered that the tests were not legal and allowed the boxers to participate in the Games in Paris.
Iman Khelif recently sued Donald Trump, Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling for calling her a man.
