FKA Twigs with shaved head, Julia Fox in lingerie over her dress and Taylor Momsen in grunge look at The Crow premiere
Bill Skarsgard, FKA Twigs, Julia Fox, Taylor Momsen and Rory Culkin attended the world premiere of The Crow in New York City.
36-year-old singer and actress FKA Twigs (real name Tahliah Barnett) came to the premiere in an unusual way: half of her head was shaved, and she decorated it with an unusual crown, stylized as a raven's paw.
Thalia is currently going through a difficult period: she is suing her ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf, whom she accuses of sexually, physically, and emotionally abusing her and intentionally infecting her with a sexually transmitted disease. Thalia filed a lawsuit against her ex-lover back in 2020, but the case was only heard two months ago.
Also at the premiere was 31-year-old actress Taylor Momsen, familiar to viewers for her role as Jenny Humphrey in the series "Gossip Girl": she chose a grunge-style look. 34-year-old actress Julia Fox wore a dress with an applique in the form of a set of underwear. In addition, Rory Culkin, the younger brother of Macaulay and Kieran, was on the red carpet.
"The Crow" is a remake of the 1994 film of the same name, during the filming of which Bruce Lee's son, 28-year-old actor Brandon Lee, who played the lead role, died. The film tells the story of a man named Eric (played by Skarsgård), who is resurrected after being murdered to take revenge on those who killed him and his fiancée. The film was directed by Rupert Sanders and also stars Danny Huston, Isabella Way, Laura Byrne, Sami Bouadjila and Jordan Bolger.
Bill Skarsgård, as quoted by People magazine, said he was terrified to play Brandon Lee: "It's an iconic performance, a tragic story that happened to Brandon. And I approached it like I approached any other job: 'What is this story? How can I make this story honest?' I feel like this movie and his performance are iconic and shouldn't be changed in any way. So I'm glad we tried to do something completely different with him."
