The Venice Film Festival hosted the premiere of one of the most anticipated films of the year, the film "Joker: Madness Between Two Men" starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. They were the main stars of the red carpet today. Among other celebrities, the jury chairperson Isabelle Huppert, Iris Law and others were spotted at the premiere. Joaquin Phoenix was accompanied at the premiere not by his wife Rooney Mara, but by his sister Rain, who rarely appears in public, while Lady Gaga posed for photographers with her fiancé Michael Polansky.

"Joker: Madness Between Two" is a sequel to the super-popular film "Joker", released back in 2019. Like the first part, the sequel was also filmed by Todd Phillips. The new film will tell how Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), being forcibly treated in a mental hospital, meets the love of his life - Harley Quinn (Lady Gaga). Joaquin Phoenix's role in the first "Joker" earned him an Oscar.
