Rihanna among the guests, Vittoria Ceretti and Kendall Jenner on the catwalk at the first Alaia show since 1991
A high-profile event took place in New York: Alaia held its first show since 1991. The brand presented its winter-spring 2025 collection.
The event took place at the Guggenheim Museum, which had never hosted a fashion show before. The white building with its unusual rounded shapes matched the looks of Peter Mulliez's new line, which featured many flowing lines and no zippers or buttons.
About 250 guests came to see the show, among whom, of course, were celebrities: Liv Tyler, Amber Valletta, Linda Evangelista. But the main star of the evening was Rihanna, who came to the show in a dress inspired by the brand's 1992 collection.
Models who walked the runway included Kendall Jenner, Anok Yai, Vittoria Ceretti and Mona Tugard.
