Kaia Gerber recreates her mother Cindy Crawford's iconic look from 30 years ago

Kaia Gerber repeated the image of her mother Cindy Crawford on the red carpet of the Toronto Film Festival. The 23-year-old model came to the premiere of the new film Shell, where she played one of the main roles, in a white tight-fitting dress by Herve Lager, the same one Crawford wore at the Oscar ceremony in 1993. The dress that Kaia wore was made especially for this appearance, and the jewelry that completed the look, the model "borrowed" from her mother.

"Kaia sent me references for the festival, and this dress was in one of her references," Kaia's stylist Molly Dixon told Vogue. "I thought it would be cool to pay homage to Cindy's iconic look."

Cindy Crawford appeared in public in this dress with her first husband Richard Gere. The supermodel and the Hollywood actor were married from 1991 to 1995. Three years after the divorce, Crawford married businessman and former model Randy Gerber. The couple is still together and has raised two children: son Randy and daughter Kaia. Cindy gave birth to both children at home.

Kaia Gerber was joined on the red carpet of the Toronto festival by the film's leading actress, Kate Hudson. The 45-year-old actress chose a dress with a pink corset with a peplum and a white skirt for the premiere.
