The royal family publicly congratulated Prince Harry on his birthday for the first time in three years

Prince Harry turned 40 today. On his anniversary, the Duke of Sussex received a pleasant surprise: for the first time since 2021, the British royal family officially congratulated him on his birthday.

A photo of Harry appeared on the social networks of the British monarch Charles III, which was taken six years ago in Dublin, where the prince came on an official mission, while still a working member of the royal family. The photo was accompanied by the caption: “Wishing the Duke of Sussex a happy 40th birthday.”

Now the public is wondering whether this means that relations between Harry and his relatives have warmed up, or whether it is simply an indulgence that was made because of the round date. It is worth noting that Prince William did not publicly congratulate the marriage, but the Instagram* of the Prince and Princess of Wales reposted congratulations from Charles III.

Recall that Prince Harry's relationship with his relatives began to gradually deteriorate after he and his wife Meghan Markle renounced royal powers in 2020. The conflict was facilitated by Harry's public accusations against his relatives, first made in a scandalous interview with Oprah Winfrey, and then in his memoirs entitled "Spare". Despite the fact that Harry has repeatedly tried to get close to William and his father again, this has not happened yet. The brothers recently saw each other at the funeral of Lord Robert Fellowes, the son-in-law of their mother, Princess Diana, but kept their distance from each other.
