Lizzo Denies Rumors She Used Ozempic For Weight Loss
Lizzo has denied claims that she used the diabetes drug Ozempic to lose weight.
The 36-year-old singer posted a comment on her Instagram* in which a follower suggested that her weight loss was the result of substance use: "She was using Ozempic or snorting cocaine." To which she responded: "Why are you stalking me?" She also added several tear-stained face emojis, and then posted a video in which she commented on her weight loss: "When after 5 months of strength training and a calorie deficit you finally get accused of using Ozempic." According to her, these accusations sound like a reward for the time spent in the gym.
It should be noted that recently more and more celebrities who have lost weight dramatically are suspected of using the drug "Ozempic", which was originally developed to treat diabetes, but due to the side effect (reduced appetite and weight loss), it began to be used for other purposes. Thus, Christina Aguilera is suspected of using "Ozempic", for a long time there were rumors that Oprah Winfrey lost weight this way. She herself denied these rumors, but eventually admitted that she really lost weight with its help. Not long ago, Kate Moss's sister Lottie was hospitalized from an overdose of "Ozempic".
