"Leonardo DiCaprio has nothing to do with this." Insider comments on photo of actor at party of rapper P. Diddy, who is accused of human trafficking
An insider commented on a recently surfaced archive photo of Leonardo DiCaprio at one of the parties of rapper P. Diddy (real name - Sean Combs), who was arrested last week on charges of human trafficking and engaging in prostitution.
A source close to the 49-year-old actor said DiCaprio has had nothing to do with Diddy "for years." This was his comment on photos published by the British tabloid Daily Mail showing DiCaprio enjoying himself at one of Sean Combs' parties in 1998 at his East Hampton home. According to the source, DiCaprio has not communicated with Combs for a long time and has never attended the parties, which were called "freak shows." Investigators call them "elaborate and staged sexual performances" in which women were forced to participate.
The source claims that "Leonardo DiCaprio had absolutely nothing to do with this. He attended a few of his parties in the early 2000s, but literally everyone did. They weren't wild parties. They were big house parties. Leo was early in his career at the time and had moved on from the party scene. He has no connection to that world, so to suggest he would be dragged into this based on a few grainy photos from 20 years ago is just ridiculous."
DiCaprio and Sean Combs were photographed together at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, and the actor attended the rapper's 50th birthday party in 2019. Combs once declared DiCaprio "the number one person" on his "White Party" guest list. Other stars P. Diddy has hosted include Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Mariah Carey.
Combs, 54, was arrested last week and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and human trafficking for the purpose of prostitution. Thousands of bottles of lubricant were allegedly found during searches of his property. Prosecutors say the women who participated in the "freak show" were so exhausted from the marathon sex sessions that they required IVs afterward.
Sean Combs is currently in jail after a judge denied his request to be released on $50 million bail.
